A thirty-five year resident and native of Northern Maine’s “French Country”, David was a jack-of-all-trades for many years. He received a B.S. in Biology in 1979 and a B.S. in Nursing in 1989 from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. After ten years of nursing, he received a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta in 1999, when he also married Eileen his lovely wife in Key West, Florida.
They then moved to coastal Oregon where they now have a chiropractic practice and a family of five dogs and three cats. Having dabbled at writing in college, David never suspected that he had a four- volume fantasy series lying within him. He has been a devoted fan of the fantasy genre and gives credit to the two chief influences of his writing (no plagiarism intended) J.R.R. Tolkien and Terry Brooks.
